Andrew Fry has extensive experience driving growth of entertainment services on mobile phones, PCs , and connected TV devices. Andrew is currently at Intel where he is leading product strategy and international business development for Intel’s digital media services that help retailers improve operational efficiency and deliver UV and non-UV media to users securely across all devices.

Previously, Andrew lead strategic partner marketing at Roku where he drove exponential growth for many of the top film, TV, music, and game services on the platform. He managed strategic content partnerships at Zing (acquired by Dell) where he drove digital movie and music downloads as well as physical media bundles with PCs and mobile devices worldwide. Andrew also held various positions at Openwave, Ebay, and Hewlett-Packard.

Andrew graduated from Rice University with an MBA and has a Bachelors in Engineering from New Mexico State University.

Jim Taylor is the author of DVD Demystified and Blu-ray Disc Demystified, the best-selling book series published by McGraw-Hill. Jim is currently Head of Technology and Product Development at DECE, the cross-industry group working on UltraViolet, the electronic equivalent to DVD and Blu-ray. Called a “minor tech legend” by E! Online, Jim created the acclaimed Internet DVD FAQ and the UltraViolet FAQ, speaks and writes about digital video and audio technology, holds several patents, and serves as Chairman of the International Digital Media Alliance. Jim has worked with interactive media for over 30 years, developing computer software, laserdiscs, CD-ROMs, Web sites, DVDs, and Blu-ray discs, along with teaching workshops, seminars, and university courses. Steven Chester brings a broad perspective and in-depth expertise to his role at Akamai. In his current position, Chester guides Akamai’s strategic direction in the distribution of digital media by the film industry. Working closely with the major studios, such as 20th Century Fox, Paramount, Disney and Sony Pictures as well as distribution outlets such as Netflix and Best Buy, Chester guides the development of Akamai solutions that benefit the entire digital distribution workflow from post-production to consumer experience.

Brad Collar is Senior Vice President and General Manager of Global Digital Media Xchange (GDMX), a wholly owned subsidiary of Warner Bros. GDMX is a recognized global leader in supply chain operations and content distribution services providing world-class services in broadcast origination, syndicated program distribution, Video On Demand encoding and distribution, and DVD and Blu-ray compression and authoring.

Mr. Collar recently joined GDMX from his previous position as Vice President, Technology, for Warner Bros. Technical Operations, where he was engaged in new media technology development and strategy at the studio. During that time Mr. Collar’s primary areas of focus included Blu-ray application development, IP delivery systems, file based workflows, audio/video compression, digital distribution technologies, and 3D content distribution to the home entertainment environment. Mr. Collar served as the technical lead in Warner’s catalog 2D-to-3D conversion strategy, most notably assisting with the conversion of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 which was recently made available on Blu-ray disc. In addition Brad served as the research and development lead for Warner’s Digital End-To-End (DETE) system, most notably leading the testing, technology selection, and creation of Warner’s high definition eMaster format.

Prior to that Mr. Collar served as Director, Digital Distribution Technology from 2002 to 2007 where he participated in the development and launch of the Blu-ray Disc format. From 1996 to 2002 Mr. Collar held several positions within Warner’s in-house compression and authoring facility, GDMX, where he supervised the compression and authoring of over 1000 DVD projects for the studio.

Mr. Collar is a member of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers and the Screen Actors Guild. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from UCLA, an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, and currently has 1 granted patent and 9 patents pending in the United States.
