Sean Sabre is a supply chain professional with over 10 years of diverse packaging experience in warehousing, transportation, procurement and design in the aerospace, telecommunications, electronics, software and white goods industries. In his current role, his department of packaging procurement and packaging engineering professionals manage the sourcing and design of packaging solutions for their clients…among them are some of the world’s largest brands of computer, GPS navigation, flash memory, MP3 player, hard drive, pc camera, keyboard, mice, digital camera, software, wireless device and processor products.

Sean is the enterprise lead for sustainable packaging engagements such as ModusLink’s active membership in the Sustainable Packaging Coalition, the Wal-Mart Packaging Sustainable Value Network, the National Recycling Coalition, the Southeastern Recycling Development Council, etc and is a member of the expert panel for Packaging World Magazines GreenerPackage initiative. Sean is an advisor to many large national retailers selling electronics and software products and he and his team have been profiled in various blogs and media outlets including Industry Week and Packaging Strategies. Sean has also served as a guest speaker at the Sustainable Packaging Coalition annual meeting and conference on a panel with representatives from McDonalds, Wal-Mart and Dell.

Sean has studied international marketing at École supérieure de commerce de Rennes France and Högskolan i Luleå Sweden and has a BSBA in Marketing from East Carolina University. He lives in Cary, NC with his wife Michelle and 4 children.
