H. Anthony DiRico
H. Anthony DiRico, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Hub Folding Box Company
H. Anthony DiRico is part of the third generation of family that owns and operates Hub Folding Box Company, Inc. today. Graduating with a BS in Business Management from the University of Alabama, Tony went outside the family business to work at Kliklok Corporation where he learned about mechanical packaging and the importance of having innovation, service and quality in a packaging supplier. He later returned back to his roots of Hub Folding Box Company, where his grandfather developed the first cellophane widow package and bottle carrier-“the six-pack”.
Today at Hub Folding Box, Tony continues that same innovation that his grandfather Francesco DiRico started back in 1918 by developing new innovative “green” ideas for sustainable packaging, such as the OPTIPAK™ DVD and Blu-Ray Package which uses 40% less plastic, a unique domed shaped hub and graphic capabilities that make the package appear to have an O-ring attached. Tony also helped develop Hubʼs LIQUID INK TECHNOLOGIES™ that provide more economical and eco-friendly solutions without sacrificing brand exposure in retail environments. In all of his efforts, Tony has helped to make Hub Folding Box Company one of the most innovative and prestigious packaging manufaturers in the Northeast.
