<p>Phil Lelyveld is an Entertainment Technology and Business Development consultant (<a href="http://www.reelword.com">www.reelword.com</a>). He is currently building out the Consumer 3D Experience Lab and program at USC’s Entertainment Technology Center. His other recent projects include a study of the future of the postproduction industry, and Museum 3.0, the future of museums in the digital age. He has significant expertise in the technical, legal, and business issues associated with the production, distribution, and monetization of content and services, gained from 10 years as VP Digital Industry Relations within Disney’s corporate New Technology and New Media strategy group. Phil has degrees from UCLA (MBA), Stanford (MS Geophysics), and Tufts (BS Engineering). He is a frequent panelist and public speaker at media-related events, including the Sundance Film Festival, Digital Policy Summit, NAB, Digital Hollywood, The Caucus, and the TeleManagement Forum.</p>

<p>Marie O’Reilly-Thein serves as the senior vice president of sales for First Look Studios’ home entertainment division, where she is responsible for supervising the sales team and managing key retail accounts such as Best Buy, Target and AAFES. She was promoted in January 2009 to this role. O’Reilly-Thein reports to Chief Operating Officer, Dean Wilson.</p>
<p>A savvy sales person with over 13 years of industry experience, O’Reilly-Thein has managed the sales for successful releases of films such as The Contract, War, Inc., Day of the Dead and Transsiberian as well as the UFC® professional fighting series and several popular television shows, such as “The Cosby Show” and “Cybill.”</p>
<p>Previously, O’Reilly-Thein served as vice president of sales for First Look Studios, where she managed high profile clients such as Anderson/Walmart. Prior to First Look Studios’ acquisition of Ventura Distribution, O’Reilly-Thein was Ventura’s vice president of national accounts, where she developed category management plans, created custom product lines and managed a multi-million dollar marketing distribution fund. From 1998 to 1999, O’Reilly-Thein served as director of sales and operations for WebRadio.com, where she was responsible for negotiating service contracts with over 100 affiliate partners and developing operational procedures. She began her career in entertainment in 1996 as the national account manager at Sirius Publishing.</p>

<p>Ben has extensive experience in supply-chain management from Buena Vista Home Entertainment, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, Vision Information Services and in his current position with Sony DADC.  At Buena Vista he was VP of North American Operations including; manufacturing, distribution, customer service and IT Ben is considered a pioneer and innovator of industry VMI processes and trading terms. At Fox as EVP of Global Operations, he led the surgence of TCFHE as an award winning consumer product company.  While with Vision, Ben guided new business development which included development of the systems supporting VMI in video, music and other consumer product sectors along with aggregation management including supplier consortiums at Best Buy and others.</p>
<p>While at Disney and Fox, Ben lead supply-chain teams that garnered 13 “Vendor of the Year” awards at several North American mass merchants and implemented the first VMI programs in Europe and the Pacific Rim.</p>
<p>In Ben’s current role at Sony DADC he is leading aggregation strategies across all Sony divisions and supply-chain accounts.</p>

<p>Mr. Hair is the Chief Technology Officer of the Walt Disney Studios, and is responsible for the operations of the Studio New Technology department. The Studio New Technology department focuses on the evaluation and application of new technologies that support evolving business models related to the motion picture business. The Studio New Technology department works closely with business segments within the studio to identify major changes and opportunities to transition new technologies out of R&amp;D and into operations to improve the studio’s business capacity and profitability. The department is focusing on new technologies in production, post-production, theatrical exhibition, and home entertainment that will assist the studio in a transition from physical workflows to automated file-based workflows. The resulting global digital operation and supply-chain will effectively service existing and emerging channels, while ensuring interoperability, high quality, and long-term preservation of Disney’s motion picture properties.</p>
<p>Mr. Hair is a member of The Walt Disney Company Technology Strategy Board and a member of The Walt Disney Studios Environmental Taskforce. Mr. Hair is a 1982 graduate of Purdue University, beginning his career as a manufacturing engineer in defense electronics then transitioning into movie and music eCommerce. Mr. Hair received 21 patents in the United States, Australia, Austria, China, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, New Zealand, Singapore, Spain and Taiwan and he has been granted another 15 in Europe.</p>
