Chuck Parker is president of Technicolor’s Digital Content Delivery (DCD) division.
DCD encompasses three related businesses:

– Our Broadcast Services are designed to provide our customers with TV playout, post production, production scheduling, localization and editing services and currently serves over 320 TV channels which are broadcast to over 70 million people every day in more than 50 languages.

– Our Media Services are designed to provide out content creators with the ability to quickly monetize their content for distribution around the globe. We provide duplication and digital VOD encoding services, 2D and 3D DVD and Blu-ray compression and authoring services to include BD Live serives, localization, conforming/compliance editing, and distribution services to get more than 1 million assets to our customers’ partners annually.

– Our Digital Distribution Services allow our internet distribution partners to get their content encoded and distributed directly to their end consumers quickly and effectively. Additionally, we are currently building the next generation multi-device, digital video content delivery eco-system for the digital home.

Previously, Chuck was executive vice president of International DVD Operations and Global Electronic Distribution Services for Technicolor’s Home Entertainment Services (HES). Since 2003, Parker has overseen all aspects of Technicolor’s European video, DVD, and CD manufacturing and distribution operations. This includes managing turnkey fulfillment and distribution services, all facets of inventory management and warehousing, invoicing and collections, as well as managing the commercial relationship of THES customers and the P&L of the business in Europe.

Chuck has also managed the THES business in Austral-Asia since 2005, and since 2006, he has been responsible for the creation and the worldwide launch of Technicolor Electronic Distribution Services, which includes the distribution of digital content to the home.

Chuck joined the company in 1996 and has held several senior management positions over the years, including Chief Information Officer. Prior to joining the company he was a combat arms officer serving for the U.S. Army. He holds an MBA from the University of Notre Dame, where he graduated with honors.
