Todd is an experienced Director in PwC’s Media & Entertainment practice possessing 18 years of global management consulting and professional management experience. Todd has led a variety of global, complex strategy and transformational projects on behalf of companies in the USA, Europe, South Africa and Australia. He leads PwC’s consumer research program and is a contributing editor to PwC’s annual Global Entertainment and Media Outlook publication. Todd holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Relevant experience:
Advised a broadcaster through the definition of key metrics and decisioning tools to enhance their management of the content commissioning process through rights exploitation across their global network. This included working with key executives to understand requirements, data availability and workflow. The benefits included proactive and effective management , and cross business collaboration. Including greater transparency of programming cost per hour, ratings, rate card management, subscriber revenue, secondary exploitation across their network and digital integration.
Advised numerous TV production companies and broadcasters on acquisition strategy, commercial/financial due diligence and integration planning.
As President of an independent production company, developed the strategy and executed the change management program to improve the processes and interactions between the production house and a major motion picture studio, leading to cost reductions, improved working practices and a collaborative relationship between the two organizations.
As the CFO of a global retailer, Todd led the finance transformation in the USA and Canada supporting 125 retail stores which included managing the activities to implement two separate ERP accounting systems, new technologies to increase the efficiency of reconciliations across the retail network and enhanced management reporting capabilities including data warehouses to improve the availability and speed of financial data.
