Anthony Smith

Antony joined Nimbus in 1986 and was responsible for organising Nimbus Records’ distribution network for classical and Jazz CDs, first in the UK and then in the US, and was subsequently appointed General Manager of Records in 1993 with responsibility for Production and International Sales and Marketing.  In 1995 he joined the companies Laser Mastering Division, Nimbus Technology & Engineering (NTE) as Vice President of Commercial Operations, responsible for global contract negotiation and European Sales.  In November 1997 he became Director of Asia Operations and in March 1998 relocated to Singapore to head up all aspects of sales and service from Australia to China, India to Japan. He returned to England in 2002 and is now the Business Director for Wyastone Estate Limited, a holding company which owns and manages the national and international distribution of the Nimbus labels , The Wyastone Business Park, The Wyastone Concert Hall and the high quality, short run, fast turn around duplicator and digital printer Nimbus Disc & Print Services.
