Hans Arentsen

Hans Arentsen is Co-founder of the PaperFoam® Company and co-inventor of PaperFoam® Technology: the carbon friendly lightweight packaging for consumer electronics, cosmetics, media and entertainment. Hans has spearheaded the development of the company from the initial idea through the technological development stage with a hands-on style, determination, and a focus on the commercial performance of technology. Over fourteen years of experience in the environmentally sustainable packaging industry, with  major packaging projects for consumer electronics at AMD, Motorola and Apple, have helped Hans to recognize the need for further carbon emission reductions. At the same time he managed the setup at manufacturing partners in Northern Europe, South East Asia, China and North Carolina/US. From 2007 onwards he has been dedicated to mainstream applications of PaperFoam packaging, especially in the media and entertainment  market. PaperFoam’s ultra low weight and the absence of oil-based ingredients do significantly contribute to the carbon reduction targets of many global players.
