Sony Pictures Entertainment – Europe

Tim Wright is Director for Technology for Sony Pictures Entertainment in Europe and is responsible for the studio’s technology and content protection standards activities outside of the United States. He is also responsible within Sony Pictures for promotion of the industry standard for interoperability of digital video services, UltraViolet (formerly known as DECE – Digital Entertainment Content Ecosystem), within Europe and Asia. Prior to Sony Pictures, Tim worked in security technology for Motorola and in research and standards for mobile security, including mobile TV and content services, for Vodafone. He is also trained in facilitation, and studies philosophy and theology in his spare time.
