Rob joined the Woolworths Group in 1982 as a Management Trainee, he quickly progressed to occupy senior industry positions including Managing Director of Handleman UK Ltd.
His period with Handleman UK began in December 2000 as Commercial Director and he was promoted to MD in Feb 2001.

In 2005 Rob and his family relocated to Bentonville, Arkansas in the US as he took up the position of Group Vice President, Wal-Mart and Global Sourcing.

Prior to joining Tesco he was Sales and Marketing Director for EUK, helping to fill the void left by Commercial Director Ian Foster’s move to Universal.
He Joined Tesco in July 2008 as Category Director for Entertainment
