and became a professional rock musician but ended up as an events producer.

with clients ranging from British Steel, English Heritage and BT. In 2004 he joined Miomni

In this role, George is responsible for Technicolor’s media services business in UK including all post production, digital media, sound and DVD compression and authoring. He leads a team of 100+ specialist personnel and is responsible for:

In that roles he developed strategic relationships and business with telecommunications carriers for content solutions; major retailers for digital download services; and content owners including studios and independent production houses and TV companies for post production and content management solutions.

Previously George led UK sales for Motorola Ltd specializing in digital media solutions for the home and mobile. Prior to that he held various senior sales and business development roles within Motorola since 2000.

Bob Auger has run several media acquisition and production companies since his early days as an engineer in broadcast television. In the 1970s, he founded one of the leading sound studios in Manchester, engineering tracks by Joy Division and Factory records among many others. In the early 1980s, he was appointed Audio-visual Director of Molinare, the ground-breaking London post-production company. As MD of Electric Switch in the 1990s, he supervised the supply of digital assets for the BT ADSL trials and subsequently played a significant role in the launch of DVD in Europe.

Since the turn of the millennium, he has spent more time reflecting on the industry as a consultant, conference speaker and correspondent. He writes a weekly Eye on the Supply opinion piece for the Cue Entertainment web site, covering all aspects of the entertainment supply chain.
