Jonathan is a founding partner at Tenshi Ventures. Jonathan has over 20 years commercial, technical and corporate development experience as a Director of private and public companies in the new media and technology sectors. Since founding his first business in 1989 Jonathan has lead both private and public fund raising activities, business acquisitions and disposals.

Originally a programmer Jonathan co-founded Kuju Entertainment, which he lead to become one of the largest independent game development groups in the world employing more than 250 staff in seven studios over three continents. As CEO Jonathan oversaw Kuju’s public floatation on the London AIM market in 2002 and sale in 2007.

Jonathan graduated from York University with Honours in Physics and Computer Science.

Patrick Gruter is VP Global Policy for The Walt Disney Company and has represented Disney at EU level for a decade from Brussels.

Patrick’s EU policy work has included the major intellectual property issues of the digital age as well as media regulation, privacy, and consumer protection, again in particular for the online environment. He has also been involved with a number of media competition cases at EU level.

Prior to joining Disney, Patrick worked for the international recording industry association IFPI on major Internet legislation and he has also managed law approximation projects during EU Accession.

Dr. Richard Wilson is CEO of TIGA, the trade association representing the UK video games industry. Established in 2001, TIGA’s membership includes independent games developers, in-house publisher owned developers, video game publishers, outsourcing companies, technology businesses, FE colleges, universities and training providers. TIGA’s vision is to make the UK the best place in the world to do games business. TIGA focuses on three sets of activities: political representation, raising the sector’s media profile and developing services that enhance the competitiveness of TIGA members.

Richard was previously Director of Communications at the Royal Academy of Engineering (2006-2008). Prior to this, Richard was Head of Business Policy at the Institute of Directors (1998 – 2006), one of the UK’s leading business representative bodies.

Richard has held a diverse range of non-executive positions: in the food and drink industry (Improve, 2004-2007); adult training (the Adult Learning Inspectorate, 2005-2007); small business (Chair of the Better Payment Practice Group, 2004-2006). He has also served as a member of Edexcel’s Qualifications Committee (2006-07).

Richard taught politics at Reading University and was awarded a PhD for his thesis in political theory.

Nortier has more than 20 years of experience delivering industry-leading IT solutions to customers.

Prior to joining Signiant, Nortier was General Manager for Storage Essentials EMEA at Hewlett Packard. He was Vice President and General Manager of EMEA for AppIQ, Inc., a storage management software innovator acquired by HP in 2005. Prior to that, he was Vice President of European Operations for TrelliSoft, Inc., a leading provider of storage resource management solutions acquired by IBM in 2002. David was also European sales manager for HighGround Systems, where he contributed over 50 percent of the company’s worldwide revenues leading up to the company’s acquisition by Sun Microsystems.
