Since founding his first business in 1989 Jonathan has lead both private and public fund raising activities, business acquisitions and disposals.

Originally a programmer Jonathan co-founded Kuju Entertainment, which he lead to become one of the largest independent game development groups in the world employing more than 250 staff in seven studios over three continents. As CEO Jonathan oversaw Kuju’s public floatation on the London AIM market in 2002 and sale in 2007.

Jonathan graduated from York University with Honours in Physics and Computer Science.

Patrick’s EU policy work has included the major intellectual property issues of the digital age as well as media regulation, privacy, and consumer protection, again in particular for the online environment. He has also been involved with a number of media competition cases at EU level.

Dr. Richard Wilson is CEO of TIGA, the trade association representing the UK video games industry. Established in 2001, TIGA’s membership includes independent games developers, in-house publisher owned developers, video game publishers, outsourcing companies, technology businesses, FE colleges, universities and training providers. TIGA’s vision is to make the UK the best place in the world to do games business. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Mr. Cary worked as an engineer in the R&D labs of U S WEST (now Qwest) in the knowledge-based systems group. After law school (Santa Clara University, cum laude), he worked as a patent attorney for the Silicon Valley-based law firm of Fenwick & West. Mr. Cary returned to Colorado and followed the legal chain of title from U S WEST, to MediaOne, to AT&T Broadband, now Comcast!

After a short stint at a “.bomb” company, Mr. Cary returned to the cable industry at CableLabs. His main focus at CableLabs is on legal, policy, and business issues related to advanced video platforms, content protection, content distribution technologies, and interactive programming. He also provides general advice on cable industry technology strategy, IPR licensing, standards setting, antitrust, and patents.

Alison joined Futuresource Consulting in 1998 and heads up the Entertainment Content division, working closely with many of the Hollywood studios and major music companies.
