ESCA Digital Comes to Europe!

Featuring 3rd Annual European UltraViolet Academy Update

The European video entertainment business has reached a crucial stage in its transition from physical to digital distribution of content. While the majority of revenues still come from disc sales and rental, a growing share of the total income is now being generated by on demand content providers, be they ‘new generation’ OTT distributors or the more established European broadcasters.

Key to the next stage of market development is Building a Digital Bridge in order to give consumers the flexibility they require. At the same time, the drive is on to improve efficiencies and lower costs across the digital supply chain in order to create a sustainable revenue stream.

To address these points and to focus directly on the issues relevant to the European industry, MESA Europe has once again teamed up with the Digital Entertainment Group ( DEG) and DECE – the organisation dedicated to driving the UltraViolet platform – to create a ‘must attend’ event for anybody involved in, or impacted by, the changes taking place in the home entertainment sector.

Key among the discussion points will be the progress being made by UltraViolet in Europe together with updates on the latest plans for European expansion.

This one day seminar and industry discussion forum will feature presentations and industry panels involving senior level executives involved in driving and implementing these changes. In addition, there will be ample opportunity for open floor discussion and industry networking.

Topics to come under the spotlight will include:

  • Driving Digital Content Revenues in Europe
  • Listening to the Consumer and Reacting to their Entertainment Wants and Needs
  • Building a Digital Media Bridge
  • Defining and improving the new Digital Entertainment Supply Chain
  • Driving the Digital Business Through Enhanced Data and Analytics
  • UltraViolet – Global and European Progress Report
  • Making UltraViolet happen in Europe
  • Creating the Ultra High Definition (UHD) Reality
