Robin has been at the forefront of innovation in Content Distribution for over 15 years. Industry firsts include; first to market B2B video on-line catalogue, on-site VOD for content markets and the first scalable Digital Video Supply Chain in Europe. In his most recent achievement, Robin managed the content logistics teams across all platforms (on-line, TV, Cinema, social) for the worldwide simultaneous release of the 50th Anniversary episode for the Doctor Who brand. Declared as a new Guinness World Record.

At BBC Worldwide, Robin is responsible for the global supply chain strategy to bring scalable content distribution to all areas of the company.
His accountability encompasses defining workflow, strategy, content modelling and technical standards for all managed content within the Digital Supply Chain. Innovation in new distribution technology forms an integral part of the remit. Robin participates with a number of industry forums and standards bodies including DPP, Event Cinema Association and the Journal for Digital Media Management.

He is a credible advocate for the Digital Supply Chain, Content Management Systems (CMS), Rights Management, e-commerce, Metadata Management, Taxonomy, Content Modelling, Iterative Agile development, Video On-Demand (VOD), Electronic Sell Through (EST)/Download To Own (DTO), A/V Transcoding, Asset QC, Digital Cinema and Content Delivery Networks (CDN).
